The Daily Record Names 2015 Most Admired CEOs

Baltimore, Md., (July 24,2015) — The Daily Record has named Howard J. Rosen, CPA, CGMA, President and shareholder of Rosen, Sapperstein & Friedlander, Chartered (RS&F) as one of Maryland’s 2015 Most Admired CEOs.
The Daily Record created the Most Admired CEOs awards program to recognize talented business CEOs and nonprofit executive directors throughout Maryland for their leadership and professionalism. The winners are selected based on their leadership and vision; competitiveness and innovation; community leadership and service; financial performance and growth; corporate leadership and board service; and nonprofit involvement.
Rosen was a founder of the firm RS&F in 1979.  He has led RS&F on a path of strategic growth, both organically and through acquisition, as well as through building strategic relationships with firms in complimentary industries.  Throughout his career, he has been responsible for developing many successful business plans for middle market companies throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.  Rosen’s consultative approach is firmly based on a philosophy of “telling clients what they need to hear, not just what they want to hear.”

Rosen also has extensive and ongoing leadership involvement in charitable organizations.  His open and inclusive management style encourages dialogue and sharing of ideas at all levels company-wide, empowering those with ideas to bring them to fruition.  Rosen mentors staff while also providing autonomy to create and develop ideas, which allows professionals to achieve their fullest potential.

Applications must include letters of recommendation from current staff and at least one letter from a nonprofit or board on which the CEO serves. Winners are selected by a panel of business and legal professionals and a representative of The Daily Record. A listing of the winners is below.

“Leadership matters to our economy and to the quality of our day–to–day lives,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, publisher of The Daily Record. “The Most Admired CEOs set the example for others to follow. They demonstrate leadership through their integrity, values, vision and commitment to excellence. The Daily Record is pleased to honor them.”

The 2015 Most Admired CEOs will be honored Sept. 17 at a dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. at the BWI Hilton, 1739 West Nursery Road in Linthicum Heights. Winners will be profiled in a special magazine that will be inserted into the Sept. 18 issue of The Daily Record and available online at www.TheDailyRecord.com.
